I paint portraits, landscapes, and anything else. I love to tell stories. I play traditional Irish music.
Life is like a long hike through mountains, deserts and valleys, meeting fellow travelers and hearing their tales, running from bears, hearing foxes bark clear and cold on the hillside.
I live in a house that’s almost like a treehouse (except we don’t have to climb a rope ladder). It’s the first house I’ve ever owned, and I’m filling it with art, music, love, and laughter.
It’s not perfect. It’s usually a mess, with projects spread all over every room. A flicker (a big brown woodpecker type bird) keeps trying to move into my attic. The deck needs refinishing.
But at night in the spring I can hear tree frogs singing like angels, and I can see the milky way. And the light of the Sierra Nevada lights my artwork and my mind.
I am technologically deficient–but I have tried to link your blog to mine. Hope I did this correctly. I LOVE your work!
Thank you so much. I appreciate your kind words.
You are the only one. I am not cursed, but I am in love to do so.
Thanks Tienny.
Your stuff is really gorgeous, and inspiring. I went back to drawing to become a better watercolorist. So I’ve challenged myself to make something every day this year. We’ll see how it turns out, but so far, so good. I will say that I’m looking forward to your updates because your work is beautiful and fresh and I don’t see a bum in the lot here. Thanks for sharing it.
Good for you! Even if you have only 10 minutes a day, it will make a difference for you if you just keep at it.
Thanks! I aim to try. It’ll be neat to see how my work improves after this year.
